Devin (ex-Windsurf) limits
“Windsurf, now with a different name on the door.”
Windsurf became Devin Desktop on June 2, 2026; one plan covers Devin Desktop, Devin Cloud and Devin CLI. Quotas are token-based, so heavier models use them faster. Cognition doesn't publish quota sizes. Enterprise is billed in ACUs by contract.
When does Devin reset?
Pro and Teams full seats have a daily and a weekly quota; Max has a weekly quota only. Both reset by calendar date (the usage meter shows when). Past the quota, paid plans buy extra usage at API prices; Free waits for the reset.

Devin limit changes
Cognition
Windsurf renamed Devin Desktop; plans and prices unchanged, including legacy Windsurf plans
windsurf.com now redirects to devin.ai. On Teams, Devin Desktop needs a full seat ($40/mo).

Devin Review leaves free preview: 2-week trial, then usage-based billing (open-source repos stay free); new Free/Pro $20/Max $200/Teams plans
Accounts set to review on every commit were moved to review only when a PR is first opened.
Cognition
Windsurf Max drops its daily quota; weekly limit stays (Pro and Teams keep daily + weekly)
Cognition
Windsurf replaces credits with daily + weekly token quotas: Pro $20, Teams $40/seat, new Max $200; extra usage at API prices
Announced Mar 18. Existing Pro ($15) and Teams ($30/seat) keep their price indefinitely; unused add-on credits became extra-usage balance at $10 per 250 credits.
